The Treasure Map

This weathered map was found sealed in a rum bottle that washed ashore after the great storm of '72. It depicts Skullhaven Island, where I buried me treasure after the raid on Port Royal. The landmarks have changed over the decades, but the key locations remain:

The Treasure Clues

Over the years, I've collected these clues about me treasure's location. Each one points to the hiding place, but you'll need to put them all together to find the booty!

The Eternal Palm

"Beneath the palm that never falls, lies treasure deep within the walls."

The "palm that never falls" refers to the Eternal Palm, a legendary tree that has withstood every hurricane for a century.

Path of Stones

"Follow the path of three stones, the fourth will lead you home."

There are several stone paths on the island - some made by nature, some by the ancient islanders.

Shadow Point

"Where the shadow points at noon, dig beneath the crescent moon."

At exactly noon, when the sun is directly overhead, a special shadow forms on the island.

The Parrot's Call

"Listen to the parrot's cry, where the ocean meets the sky."

Me faithful parrot, Squawk, always knew where the treasure was buried.

Whispering Cave

"In the cave where whispers dwell, twenty paces from the shell."

There's a cave on the island where the wind creates eerie whispering sounds.

The Legend of Skullhaven

Skullhaven Island has a bloody history. Before I buried me treasure here, it was known as:

A sacred burial ground for the ancient Kalinago people
A hideout for the notorious pirate Blackbeard in the 1710s
The site of a Spanish fort that mysteriously vanished overnight
A supposed gateway to the underwater city of Atlantis

In 1723, after our raid on the Spanish treasure fleet, me crew and I chose this island to hide our plunder. We buried seven chests filled with gold doubloons, silver pieces of eight, and precious gems from the New World.

But greed tore us apart. A mutiny led by me first mate forced me to flee, and I've spent decades searching for my way back to the treasure. Now, as a ghost bound to these shores, I need your help to finally reclaim what's mine!

Captain Bartholomew "Yarty" Yarwood

The most feared pirate in the Caribbean from 1718-1725. Known for:

His signature emerald-green eyepatch
The golden parrot "Squawk" that always rode his shoulder
His legendary ship, the "Black Kraken"
Never harming women or children during raids
His mysterious disappearance in 1725
